Reds game 31/40. Reds versus Pirates. And it was Devin Mesoraco bobblehead night....
We didn't get down to the ballpark soon enough to score Mesorockethead. But we did move some tickets around so we can go up to Michigan in September...
BARGE?
Bases loaded for the Reds...
Eugenio Saurez knocked in three of the Red's four runs with two sacrifice files and a RBI double. Jay Bruce added a RBI double to back Raisel Iglesias' 6 2/3 innings. Jung Ho Kang went deep in the fourth for the Bucs. With the Reds leading 4-2 going into the ninth, you know what's going to happen...
I'm so happy the MLB trade deadline has come and gone, and we still get to witness Aroldis Chapman electrifying GABP and closing out games for the Reds.
The Pirates provided some anxious moments, managing to cut the lead to one and then load the bases with two outs...
And then the Cuban Missle struck out Starling Marte swinging...
And this one belongs to the Reds, 4-3! Phewwww!
I love seeing sad Pirates fans...
And we ended up finding two Devin Mesoraco bobbleheads!
