Reds game 28/40. Game two of the four game series between the Reds and Cubs...
Apparently, there was some sort of Nascar event at the ballpark tonight...
Anyway, we got some delicious Buffalo Chicken Frybox tonight! YUM!
BARGE!
We were dangerously close to getting the elusive free pizza...
The Reds led 4-2 going into the ninth. Then Middletown, Ohio native Kyle Schwarber put on a performance for the ages in return to the Cincinnati area, blasting a game-tying two-run homer in the ninth...
Skip ahead to the 13th, Schwarber crushed the go-ahead homer to almost single-handedly lift the Cubs over the Reds 5-4. :/ There was one good thing. With the game lasting 13 innings, the Reds pitchers managed to combine for 18 strikeouts. And that means FREE PIZZA! HOORAY!!! It's just our fourth free pizza of this season. In stark contrast to 2013 when we picked up 11 free pizzas in just 31 games. You know, back in the day when the Reds were actually kind of good. :/ Click to see all the photos I took at Reds game 28/40.
