Now that the All-Star break is over, we're back to our regular scheduled Reds baseball season. And it's back with avengeance. We have six Reds games over the next six days. It didn't get started off on exactly the right foot. We waited until the third inning to head down to the ballpark because it looked like this outside...
It was one of those situations that if we don't head down to the game, it would never start to rain. But as soon as we got about halfway down to GABP, it started sprinkling. By the time we got to the ballpark, it was raining.
By the time we got upstairs, the game was in a rain delay...
An hour and five minutes later, Mike Leake was turning in six solid innings...
Marlon Byrd and Joey Votto helped Leake's night with a home run apiece in the game...
Mike Leake also helped his own cause by driving in three runs, helping lead the Reds to a 6-1 interleague victory over the Indians in the annual battle for the Ohio Cup. :)
