Reds game #18 of the season at GABP. Reds versus the Detroit Tigers. It was going to be a pitching duel for the ages. Johnny Cueto versus David Price.
Right from the start the sky did not look very promising...
Johnny Beisbol...
David Price...
There's a new party deck above the Reds bullpen...
The Tiger's Miguel Cabrera...
He'd hit a three-run blast in the sixth. Speaking of going yard, Todd Frazier left the ball park with a solo shot in the fourth!
A hour and fourteen minutes later...
We left after the tenth. Jay Bruce notched his first five-hit and Brayan Pena had four hits as well. The game ended in the 13th inning with a Todd Frazier walk-off grand slam, his second two-homer game in as many nights, sending the Reds to an 8-4 win. And... the Reds pitchers combined for 13 strikeouts so free LaRosa's pizza for us! Click to see all the photos I took at Reds game 18/40. :)
