Mad Mike's Burgers & Fries.

We've found ourselves across the river in Newport quite a bit over the last couple weeks. And that was the case again tonight. On our way back home from running an errand in Newport, we stopped in to check out Mad Mike's Burger & Fries and get a bite to eat...


Surprisingly, there weren't a lot of people out at 8pm on a Tuesday night in Newport. And we had the whole place to ourselves...



I ordered the Big Tex...

Genifer ordered the American Outlaw...

And we got a large basket of fries...

The burgers were massive and delicious! Throw in two sodas and our bill was just $22. You really can't beat that. We saw on Urbanspoon that someone just like, "For a better burger, go to Five Guys." We thought Mad Mike's burgers were hands down better than Five Guys. Hands. Down. But that's just us.

Next time we find ourselves at Mad Mike's, I'm ordering the Goliath Burger... A burger with American cheese, BBQ, bacon, grilled onions, lettuce, tomato between 2 Toasted Cheese sammiches that are used as the buns. That sounds like something I definitely need to try!
