We went back down to Great American Ballpark for our Sunday afternoon "church" again...
The view from our $5 seats...
Not bad. Not bad at all. But we noticed no one was sitting in our season ticket seats...
We like these much better. There was a lot of pink around the ballpark for Mother's Day.
This little guy was cracking us up all game...
Frazier went yard...
But there weren't any fireworks...
I tell you what, he's been a monster tear lately...
I guess that explains it then...
Who knew? And what a great name for an organization, "Amigos de Los Rojos."
Homer Bailey was killin' it today...
Beautiful day for a baseball game...
Billy Hamilton wound up on third after a throwing error after he laid down a bunt...
Beep...
Jo-ey Vot-to...
Mascot race...
And this one belongs to Mr. Redlegs...
Did I mention it was a gorgeous day for baseball?
Homer Bailey threw a gem. 1 run 4 hits over 7 1/3 with 6 Ks and 2 walks.
Aroldis Chapman was up and throwing in the Reds bullpen...
And then he came into the game... GABP was absolutely electric!
Chapman faced four, struck out three to pick up his first save of the season...
We were just one strikeout away from free pizza...
After the game, we went to down to the lower concourse to finally find the new 85 foot
long Reds Brewery District bar with 60 local and national taps...
They have a bunch of local craft beers...
But they ain't cheap...
They also have a bunch of National craft beers...
Wicked cool. But I couldn't imagine paying $26 for a round of beers for us a Reds game.
That's just way too rich for my blood. We'll just stick with our $9 beers, thanks. :/
We continued on down the third base side of the lower concourse to the Fox Sports Ohio condominium to see Reds Live host, Jim Day...
Then we ducked our headed around the corner to see if the only craft beer bar was still
there. Apparently, it's been rebranded as the "Moerlein Lager House Craft Beer Bar."
It sure was good to see Chapman back on the mound for the Reds. We still can't believe
we got to see his first appearance of the season! And he got the save!
Just another great Sunday at Great American Ball Park! :)
