A new Japanese teppanyaki restaurant just recently opened where the old Benihana
used to reside on Sixth Street. It's called Kiji Japanese Teppanyaki. I've been craving
some hibachi chicken lately. Even though we have a bunch of gift cards to Benihana,
the only Benihana in Cincinnati is all the way out at Tri-County. And if you follow our
adventures even a little bit, you know we don't care for driving places. Especially places
all the way out by 275. So Kiji is already on the plus side in my book due to it's location.
We both ordered hibacki chicken. We got started with the soup and salad...
The salad was to die for. We loved the ginger dressing. I could have gone home happy
right now. Let the entertainment portion of the dinner begin...
We missed the boat a little bit by getting steamed rice instead of fired rice...
The onion volcano...
SAKE, SAKE!
And the finished product...
YUM! Delicious, delicious stuff. It was definitely more food than we could eat.
Great stuff! Welcome to the neighborhood Kiji! We can't wait to come back! :)
