The final game of the regular season. The NL Wild Card will see the Reds will play
the Pirates in Pittsburgh Tuesday night. It's also fan appreciation day at the ballpark.
Hopefully, the Reds can get back a little momentum today going into the Wild Card game.
Mr. Redlegs was kicking it up in the cheap seats with the real fans...
As was Teddy Kramer. (If you haven't read the story, read the story.)
BARGE!
And another BARGE!
TWO BARGES!
It started raining...
I figured my boy blue would send us into a rain delay...
I guess we're pushing on...
Check out this crazy Reds line-up...
I can almost guarantee you'll never see that lineup again. Oh, and it's still raining...
The mascot race was the most exciting part of the ballgame to this point.
We can see our building from here...
Billy Hamilton got an at bat...
And promptly struck out. Lots people turned out for all three games of this final Reds
home stand of the season. I think everyone wished it would have gone a little different.
That's A LOT OF PEOPLE coming out to see the Reds! Later, Corky Miller got in the game!
And he doubled in the only two runs the Reds would score!
I have a feeling they're going to need it.
Not really the way I wanted the last game of the regular season to play out.
But it was certainly another incredible season of Reds baseball! :)
