Tonight, we went back down to the ball park to if the Reds couldn't take game three of
four from the Diamondbacks. If the Reds win today and tomorrow, they could be seven
games up on the DBacks for the final playoff spot with only 33 games left in the season.
Wait... wut?
It kinda looks like a face that's non too happy.
Ominous...
The Reds led from the start. But the DBacks started to creep back into the game.
And then Broxton had to leave the game with an injury in the eighth.
So Dusty brought on this guy...
Chapman comes into the game in the eighth with no outs.
And he shut them down in the eighth.
With Chapman set to bat third in the inning, I thought they would surely pinch hit him.
Nope. Chapman's first career at bat...
Chapman took the count full...
But would eventually strikeout. Bases were full of Reds with two outs...
And Beep steps up to the plate...
Yeah. Well, he got out too. And the Reds leave them loaded. So on to the ninth.
And for the first time in his career, Aroldis Chapman is going to a two inning, six out save!
Here we go...
Oh dear...
And BOOM!
REDS WIN!
And for the first time, Chapman goes two innings to pick up the save! The Reds are on a roll!
The hunt for Reds October is on! And I love it! :)
