For the renovations that are set to begin to the 580 Building transforming it into @580.
When the renovations are complete, @580 will include, "about 179 residential units with
two-story penthouse suites with private elevators and outdoor terraces, tower units with
floor to ceiling views and plaza level suites located just above the street level retail" as
well as one guest suite. Sounds like cha-ching to me. "@580 will also have 180,000 sq.ft.
for offices and 48,000 sq.ft. for retail." It'll be really interesting to see if the places here, as
well as the new development going in at Fourth and Race Streets are anywhere close to
affordable. Or if they take "luxury" for every last penny they can get. My money rests squarely
on the latter. :$
