This afternoon we were trying to decide where to watch the Reds game. And we couldn't
decide on a place. So we decided to just watch the ballgame at the ball park...
And as we were walking to our seats, Joey Votto went yard...
Here's the view from our scalped seats...
But the people around us were really annoying (Cardinals fans at a Reds-Marlins game)
so we ended up going down to check out the new Budweiser Bowtie Bar...
The new Budweiser Bowtie Bar is located in the right field corner above the visitor's
bullpen. The bar area features open seating and flat-screen TVs. Groups of 40-65 can
reserve a portion of the Budweiser Bowtie Bar for $45 each, which includes concession
credits on each ticket good for food, drinks and merchandise. Kinda cool...
Reminds me of the rooftop seating at Wrigley Field. We stood here and watched the game.
We got some Leinenkugels from Mr. Reds Smokehouse...
And then we moved around to watch the game from behind home plate...
I thought there would be a bigger crowd with it being Brandon Phillips bobblehead day.
CHAPMAN!
The ballgame went to extra innings knotted at two all. We hung in there for the 10th.
But then we left to go watch the rest of the game and have a beer at Crave.
And the Reds ended up winning 3-2 in the 13th inning when BP drove in Shin-Soo Choo!
It was an awesome end to Brandon Phillips bobblehead day! :)
After the game we saw Aroldis Chapman drive by in his Lamborghini. Figures that he'd
drive a wicked fast car. :)
