This afternoon was the first Sunday Reds game of the season. We like to call them, Church.
And it was a lot more comfortable today than it was back on Wednesday for Opening Night.
Here's the view from our seats...
Today's game had a pitching match-up I'd expect to see in the postseason, not in the
first week of the season. Pitching for the Reds was ace, Johnny Cueto...
Versus the Nationals phenom, Stephen Strasburg...
Votto!
Mr. Reds Race...
I had my first Frisch's Big Boy burger at the ball park!
And we saw our first ball park barge of the season...
The Reds hung six on Strasburg before the Nats pulled him. The Reds took a 6-3 into the
ninth. And I think we all know what that means...
And... ballgame.
The first of what I'm sure will be many more wonderful Sunday afternoons at the ball park!
Oh... AND we were up on the Jumbotron on Kiss Cam at today's ballgame!
It was pretty funny. It caught us completely off-guard. :)
