Yard House is the latest addition to The Banks. Tonight, they had an invitation-only opening.
Let's go...
And apparently, a lot of people got invitations...
Geez, the place was packed like sardines.
There's a huge outdoor patio...
I loved all the piping carrying all the beers running around the ceiling...
And the half-yard glasses...
And just at the opening of BBP, somehow we managed to get a seat at the bar...
The first three pages of their menu is nothing but beer...
They gave us each two free drink tickets...
But with 142 beers on tap, we're going to need a few more of those tickets. Unfortunately,
the Bell's Oberon was already out of commission...
A Lost Coast Tangerine Wheat and a Fat Head Bumble Berry Honey Blueberry Ale...
And then they started with the food. Moo Shu Egg Rolls...
A Classic Cheeseburger...
BBQ Chicken Pizza...
Firecracker Wings...
With my second drink ticket, I ordered a Timmerman's Strawberry Lambic...
And the food continued with a slice of Four-Cheese Pizza...
Spicy Thai Chicken Pizza...
And Grilled Sweet Korean BBQ Beef and Rice...
Great stuff. It's going to be the place we go when we don't know what we want to eat.
They have a little bit of everything you could imagine on their menu.
There are all sorts of TV with plenty of good sports on. But for some reason, they had the
Miami Heat game on instead of the really huge Georgetown versus Florida Gulf Coast upset.
That's okay, I got it on my mobile...
They have some wonderful details that I didn't notice on the way in. Like the yard of beer
shaped handles on the main entrance doors...
And the yard glass used as a light just outside the main entrance...
I think Yard House is going to be a wonderful addition to The Banks. :)
