This evening I stopped in to the Weston Art Gallery to check out their latest installation
entitled, Standing in Time's Flow: Ceramic Sculpture by Robert Pulley. From their website...
"Both abstract and organic, Robert Pulley’s large-scale ceramic sculptures combine
ambiguous references to the human figure, organic growth, and geological stratification
and fracturing. Pulley’s totemic forms imply humans embedded in the forces of nature.
Situated in the street-level exhibition space of the gallery, they stand like sentinels
emerging from the stone floors they occupy."
Interesting stuff. I'll have to stop back soon to check out the new installations in their
downstairs galleries. Click to see all the photos I've taken at the Weston Art gallery.
