Tonight, we went to our 17th Reds game of the season so far, and what will be our
last Reds game until after the All-Star break. The Reds were playing the Milwaukee
Brewers. And one of my faves, ex-BoSox Bronson Arroyo was on the hill for the Reds.
We took advantage of the Reds Win, You Win special offer from the last home stand when
the Reds won four of six games versus the Tigers and Indians. That meant Lower-Level
Field Box tickets (regularly $34) were just $14! We saved $20 on Field Box tickets!
Five dollars knocked off for each win! And here's the view from our seats tonight...
We were right out in Jay Bruuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuce's neck of Great American Ball Park...
Joey Votto...
@DatDudeBP...
Jay Bruuuuuuuuuuuuuuuce broke the nil-nil deadlock with a three run blast...
Bronson Arroyo was flirting with a no-hitter going into the eighth...
But the wheels came off the wagon and the Brewers tied the game at 3 all. So we headed
over to Mr. Reds Smokehouse to grab a pulled pork sammich and sides...
Other than the $1 stands, we think this is the best value in the ball park at $11. So good.
And soo much food. We were stuffed. The view of the Ohio River from the Smokehouse...
Drew Stubbs put the Reds back in front with a solo shot in the bottom of the eighth...
With the Reds up by one going into the ninth, that can only mean... CHAPMAN!!!
And this one belongs to the Reds!!! Chapman struck out the side on 17 pitches.
To celebrate Aroldis Chapman did two somersaults!
Yet another great night at the ball park! We love our Reds! :)
