The Reds wrapped their Opening Weekend series with the Marlins this afternoon. It was
another gorgeous afternoon so we headed down to the ball park for game number three!
We just got two $5 cheap seats. Did you know that the Reds are charging a $2 surcharge
per ticket if you buy your tickets the day of the game? Seems kind of odd. But I guess
they have to pay Joey Votto's big new contract somehow.
At the UDF upstairs, there was a new Great Wall of Slush Puppies...
Moerlein Lager House from above...
The new Fan Zone Field, complete with full-on whiffle ball game...
The view from our seats...
Former Cub and head-case, Carlos Zambrano was pitching for the Marlins...
We switched seats so we could sit in the sun...
God Bless America.
Bronson Arroyo was on the hill for the Reds...
And then they brought in the Cuban Missle, Aroldis Chapman...
And he promptly lit up the radar gun...
Jay Bruce knocked the ball out of the park to tie the game in the bottom of the ninth.
And then Scott Rolen stepped up with runners on first and third. No outs...
Scotty Ballgame won the game with a rocket the Marlins third baseman couldn't handle...
AND THIS ONE BELONGS TO THE REDS!
Great game! Great afternoon!
