This might be a long night. Milan doesn't like thunderstorms. At all.

I was watching Ghost Adventures while I was watching the end of the Reds-Cards game...

I figured out that Svensk was hiding in my front closet next to my bike...

Nikon wasn't kidding when they said this 35mm lens was great in low light situations.
I just threw a little bit of light into the closet with a wee mini flashlight. Swoon.

Svensk looks soo incredibly evil in this photo. I love it.

It turned out to be a pretty nice evening.

And everything was so green after the rain...

Loving this new lens. I would have taken some of Svensk too. But I don't know where
she's been sleeping all day. She's around here somewhere. She's probably still in
hiding because I had the vacuum out today. I'll try to get some shots of her tomorrow.

We got back from running errands just before it started pouring down rain.

Say hello to new friend!

I ordered a new lens to add to my Nikon arsenal. It's the Nikkor AF-S 35mm DX 1.8...


It's just a little guy but it has some big results. Just look at that depth of field!




Of course I had to see what would happen it I screwed on my fisheye attachment...

So here is what my whole little Nikon camera gear arsenal looks like right now...

And of course I also have my little Sony point and shoot. Also shot with the new 35mm...

A Good Friday... for puppies.

We slept in this morning and then went on a 4.1 mile walk. The river went down a little...

There was no one down on the riverfront so on our way back home, Milan got to run
around on the playgrounds. He really loves running around on those things. It's so funny...







Then we continued home and I took him with me to run some errands. He got a car ride.
On the way home, I stopped and got us some Chicken McNuggets.

I think he had a pretty Good Friday. :)

Tunes&Blooms.

I wanted to go see one of my favorite bands, The Seedy Seeds play at Tunes&Blooms.
But I was soo tired. I just couldn't get my butt in gear to make it up there. :/
