Cyclones Classic.

All day long on US Bank Ice Rink at Fountain Square was the the Cyclones Classic, a
youth pond hockey tournament. The tournament was followed by a hockey skills clinic
led by head coach Jarrod Skalde and assistant coach Scott Fankhouser. Finally, the
Cyclones played a 3v3 exhibition pond hockey game...

It's crazy how fast those guys move around the ice. At the first intermission, Cyclones
head coach Jarrod Skalde and assistant coach Scott Fankhouser sumo wrestled on ice...

This winter thing isn't half bad.

Especially when the temperatures get into the high 30s!

Our long Saturday morning walk.

We walked down along the riverfront through Sawyer Point Park...

And we kept right on walking all the way down to International Friendship Park...








All and all it was a 3.5 mile, 17 Foursquare check-in walk that lasted almost 2 hours.
And now, Milan looks like this...

Like some sort of weird snow man totem pole or something. Odd.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!!!

Today is my birthday! HOORAY! Thanks to Heather for the brilliantly delicious cupcakes!

Arnold's + Pinstripes = Crowded.

I went to Arnold's this evening for Heather's birthday party and to see the Pinstripes.
But it was wicked crowded. I heard this was the largest crowd to ever be packed into
Arnold's. And that was even before the Pinstripes started playing...

Needless to say, I didn't stay very long. Because it's no fun to be some place when it's
hard to even move around. :( So I went home and finished the last couple glasses from the
bottle of rather expensive red wine that Shannon carried all the way back from France...

I don't know if I'm crap at picking out red wines or not, but the bottle she gave me was
really good. Must be that whole relatively expensive part and/or the carried all the way
back from France thing. :)

It's a pretty evening in downtown Cincinnati.

Lasagna Lunch Friday.

I got lasagna from Via Vite for lunch today. YUM!
