I was walking home from work when something about Seventh Street caught my eye...
Intially, it was the way the evening light was illuminating the north side of the street.
But then something else caught my eye. What is that just to the right above the clock?
It's a little statue of an owl on the awning of the Shillito Building!
These little, unnoticed details make me go all weak in the knees. And it's these daily
discoveries make me fall in love all over again with living in downtown Cincinnati.
Swoon. ♥
Geez, the owl is merely an anti-pigeon device, but the owls are not always what they seem.
ReplyDeleteThey dont need an Anti-pigeon device. They need an anti-lady-who-keeps-feeding-the-pigeons device
ReplyDeleteI love these details. Best thing about living downtown-- you keep finding details, no matter how long you've been here.
ReplyDelete@Shanny: They could have just put up those spiky
ReplyDeleteanti-pigeon things and not an owl statue. But the
point is, I never noticed Woodsy there before and
I bet not many other people have either. :)
@Julie: You just have to keep an eye out for them
I love it! :)
