Baseball game #13!

This evening I walked through Taste of Cincinnati briefly on my way to the Reds/Astros
game. The Reds have played 30 home games so far and I've been to thirteen of them. :)

When I got to the ballpark I went to the upper deck and shot back down Sycamore Street
to see the Taste of Cincinnati festivities and my apartment building. Pretty cool.










Reds ended up winning 12-2!

My new bedding.

Milan accidentally destroyed my duvet cover a little while back. It's not that big deal.
At all. I had my old duvet cover forever and a day, and new one was really overdue.

So that's my new duvet cover. I like it and it won't show dog hair! Hooray!

Getting ready for Taste of Cincinnati.

Around 7pm, they stared setting up for Taste of Cincinnati. My street looked like I-71
at rush hour. It was bumper to bumper of food trucks and rides all trying to get situated.
I took Milan on a walk later to see how everything had all come together...


But I got all distracted by the night time sprinklers in the P&G Gardens.


I have a feeling this is going to be a really fun weekend in downtown Cincinnati.

Holy geez...

I just brokered a deal with the Contemporary Arts Center for them to purchase the photos
I shot at The Event last weekend. And I'm in talks with Fat Cats Dueling Piano Bar, who
want to use my photography for their website. Life just keeps getting better and better.

I haven't even been living downtown a year yet. And I'm the staff photographer for 3CDC
Fountain Square and The National Underground Railroad Freedom Center. And my photos
have been purchased for events at Contemporary Arts Center, Via Vite, Mynt Martini and
hopefully Fat Cats Dueling Piano Bar. Simply unbelievable. I'm loving life.
Love living downtown.

Real Ultimate Power!

Milan and I walk past this billboard everyday on our walks. I don't know much about
WhatIsAmericanPower.com. The photography on the site is kinda scary in an Americana
right before a Chernobyl-type disaster. But that is a completely different blog post.

My point is everytime I see this billboard, all I can think about is RealUltimatePower.

Hooray!

The NBA is coming to Cincinnati for a preseason game in October. And I have my tickets!

According to US Bank Arena's seating chart, my seats look pretty awesome...

The Otto Armleder Memorial Fountain.

Milan and I walk by the Otto Armleder Memorial Fountain at Yeatman's Cove everyday.


And today they finally turned the water on. It's a fountain but it's also a little water park
where people can cool off on a hot summer's day.

Baseball Game #12!

The Pirates are back in town for four games. Reds have owned the Pittsburgh this season.




Reds won 4-0!

This summer is going to be FUN!

I went down to Fountain Square for lunchtime event to announce and kick off the summer
events on the Square. Summer events include the increasingly popular PNC Summer Music
Series; live music seven days a week, Freaky Friday contest series and more.

One of my favorite Cincinnati mascot's, Rufus the Reading Dog from the Cincinnati Library
was down on the Square for the Summer Series Announcement. He's sooo cute...

And Graeter's was giving away free ice cream!

This is going to be an incredibly fun summer. And it all starts next Tuesday!

Ugh.

I don't feel well today. I have a cough. And a stuffy nose. And a headache. And I have a
hangnail. I think I'm being punished for having too much fun over the weekend. But like
some dumb cold is going to stop me from having fun. So okay then cold, I'm giving you one
day of laying around and watching TV or whatever while I do laundry. Tomorrow night, I'm
going to the Reds/Pirates baseball game while I watch the Celtics game 5 on my phone.

Stupid cold.

winning the Kelly Cup! There was speeches; Live Auction of Player-Worn Jerseys; Photo
opportunities with the players and the Kelly Cup and Limited Edition 2010 Kelly Cup
