Michigan hung on to beat Notre Dame 28-24, and the legend of "Shoelaces" continues
to grow. Forget the fact the Michigan QB Denard Robinson is only a sophomore with
just two starts for the Wolverines.
Robinson is becoming legendary not only his arm (43 of 62 for 430 yards), but his legs
(57 attempts for 455 yards), his dreadlocks and his footwear. Against Notre Dame, he
accounted for a ridiculous 502 of Michigan's 532 total yards. This was a week after
he crushed the Connecticut defense for 383 yards of total offense. So after the first
two weeks of the season, Robinson leads Division 1-A in rushing with 455 yards. In two
games. And neither opponent was a cupcake. Legend in the making? Maybe. All I know is...
I'm All In for Michigan Football!
GO Blue!
ps. And Cincinnati... you're welcome. I'm glad the Wolverines could take some of the wind
out of Brian Kelly's Notre Dame sails. Next up, Michigan takes on UMass in the Big House.
The game is at noon ET on the Big Ten Network.
