Michigan was down 20-6 with six minutes left in the game. But Michigan QB
Tate Forcier led yet another comeback for Michigan, in a rainy and windy
Spartan Stadium. He connected with Darryl Stonum for a 60-yard touchdown
pass to cut the lead to 20-13 with 4:03 remaining. Then he hit Roy Roundtree
for a 9-yard score with 2 seconds left in regulation to cap off a 92-yard drive
to force overtime.
But in overtime Forcier was intercepted off a deflection in the end zone on Michigan's
first possession of overtime, keeping the Wolverines from scoring. And then Sparty
ran for a 23-yard touchdown to give the MSU a 26-20 win over the No. 22 Wolverines.
At least, Michigan made a game out of it in the end and didn't go down without a fight.
Next Saturday, Michigan travels to Iowa City to take on No.12 Iowa.
The game is at 8:05 PM on ABC.
