Today is day two of the three day Midpoint Music Fest. Before I could go check out
some more bands. 3CDC wanted me to capture some photos that showed the vibrancy
of the weekend Cincinnati nightlife at the restaurants and bars on Walnut Street.
I went to Via Vite on Fountain Square, nada, Nicholson's, Bootsy's and Righteous Room.
As I was leaving Righteous Room to go check out some bands it started pouring.
Thank goodness remembered my umbrella. And I still got to hear four bands play.

What kind of camera do you use, or are you just that skilled with any old thing? I always have trouble with low-light situations...do you bring a tripod everywhere, or do something else? I need help.
ReplyDeleteI use a Nikon D40 and I just leave the thing set wide open on the aperture setting. I don't think I'm skilled with it at all. My secret is take tons and tons of photos and there's bound to be a good one in there somewhere.
ReplyDeleteSometimes in really dark situations, I use a SB-600 speedlight flash that I can angle but I don't like using unless it's absolutely necessary because it kills the color saturation most of the time.
