And here I thought last Monday's Florida State v. Miami was really good... The
Michigan v. Notre Dame was simply incredible! Michigan upset an overrated
No. 18 Notre Dame team, 38-34. Michigan freshman QB Tate Forcier was simply
amazing going 23-33, 240 yds. 2TD, 1 rushing TD, INT. The game saw Michigan's
first kickoff return in four years with Darryl Stonum's 94 yarder. And other than
the secondary getting picked to pieces by Notre Dame's passing game, Michigan
looked great. Last year's disappointing season is becoming nothing more than a
bad memory, while the nightmare continues for Notre Dame and Charlie Weiss.
The funny thing to me was that Lou Holtz was saying that if Notre Dame could
get past Michigan, they'd run the rest of their schedule and meet Florida in the
National Championship game. The Irish v. Gators for the National Championship.
Ye-ah... Oops.
Next Saturday Michigan welcomes Eastern Michigan into in Michigan Stadium at noon.
