My new random object of desire, the new Olympus E-P1 digital camera.
"The Olympus releases their first PEN model in 1959, now 50 years later they have released
their first digital PEN, the E-P1. Small as compact camera but with the advantages of a
SLR including interchangeable lenses." Swoon.
What piques my curiosity is that there are six built-in Art Filters, all of which can ultimately
be applied within both the still and video imaging process. The filters include Pop Art, Soft
Focus, Pale & Light Color, Light Tone, Grainy Film and Pin Hole. The effects are instantly
viewable on the LCD. Which means, you could get the unique look of a photo shot with a
Holga camera, only without having to actually shoot and process film. Brilliant!
